Managing Director

Sandra, the founder of Client Connect, brings extensive expertise from her successful career as a business owner.

  • With a focus on management, finance, systems, and sales, she prioritises accountability, measurement, reporting, and integrity in all business relationships. Sandra understands the importance of a robust sales process that consistently delivers exceptional customer service, nurtures high-quality leads, and drives sales and growth. Passionate about promoting family values and work-life balance, Sandra has developed an effective remote working model for her team. This model allows Client Connect to create a harmonious blend of personal and professional life, empowering team members to thrive and achieve outstanding results. Sandra’s commitment to excellence and work-life balance has shaped Client Connect into a dynamic organisation. With her leadership and the collaborative efforts of the team, Client Connect continues to make a positive impact on our clients.

    Whanau holds a paramount place in Sandra’s heart, with her twin grandsons being an absolute source of joy, along with the cherished company of her son, daughter-in-law, and her extended family and friends.

    During her leisure hours, time is spent cultivating a rural oasis with native plants, trees, and gardens that draw in a vibrant array of birdlife. After long days spent tending to the outdoors, it’s a pleasure for her to unwind with a glass of wine overlooking the gardens, and enjoying the lively antics of her feathered visitors.

    Sandra’s partner is an accomplished sailor, and their sailing catamaran becomes a vessel of escape to the enchanting Kawau Bay and beyond, allowing them to explore diverse horizons as frequently as possible. As travel returns, they have been able to extend his business trips into holidays, venturing to new destinations that promise fresh cultural experiences—something they relish sharing.

John Gretton

Business Development Manager

John has been with Client Connect for over five years and is quite possibly the first voice you'll hear on the other end of the line.

  • With a background in tourism, John has never really thought of himself as a salesperson – just someone who genuinely enjoys a good chat. He spent his twenties guiding tour groups through South East Asia, mostly trying not to look lost. His real talent was connecting with people, and the best compliment he ever received was from a passenger who asked how he managed to keep a two-week tour running seamlessly while appearing to do nothing more than enjoy himself with the group.

    Those years came with their fair share of curveballs – from sick passengers to full-on natural disasters – but John learned pretty quickly that honest communication and a bit of integrity can get you through just about anything.

    After returning to Aotearoa, life took an unexpected turn when a mountain biking accident left John a Tetraplegic. He spent six months in hospital getting to know his body again (which doesn’t always do what it’s told), and came out the other side with his sense of humour intact.

    The remote working model at the heart of Client Connect has been a perfect fit, giving him the flexibility to contribute meaningfully while still making time for physio, exercise, and all the bits that go into keeping a not-so-cooperative body ticking along.

    John lives with his wife and their two dogs, and they love heading out on day trips together. When he’s not exploring with the family, he’s often back on the trails, making the most of his hand cycle.
